More Information.Works about 13 miles. You can hear it for about 40 miles, kerchunk it for 40 miles, but if you try to talk, it only opens the receiver to allow audio thru for very strong signals. Alligator. Im 2.5 miles from it but it wont repeat my 5 watt handhelds audio.
